Labcold was founded in London, in the UK, initially as a lab analytical service. They started supplying equipment as well, and eventually the company name was changed to echo the name of their first line of cooling and temperature control products for lab and medical environments. After their considerable success in this area, they stopped the lab service side of their business, and now focus entirely on innovation in the cooling and temperaute regulation area of medical equipment supplies.
Labcold specialise in medical and laboratory refrigerators and freezers, with leading equipment areas being their British Standard blood bank refrigerators and companion blood transfusion department products. They also produce alarms and temperature performance monitors, that work with many of their existing range and can provide precision temperature monitoring for other lab equipment.
